The Myanmar Market Price Application was developed by a group of expatriate Myanmar people in late 2022.

Our mission is to provide you with up-to-date daily market rates in Myanmar, including gold prices, currency exchange rates, and fuel prices. We are committed to delivering accurate and timely information to help you stay informed.

How we work

We don't set the market fluctuations ourselves. Instead, we analyze, calculate, balance, and present them in real time based on the following sources, making it easy for the public to stay informed:

• Online buy and sell group.
• Border buy and sell market rate.
• International buy and sell market rate.

In Myanmar, there are typically four different rates:

1. Money Changer Rate: Often the highest due to the security of the transaction.
2. Online Banking Transfer Rate: Slightly lower than the P2P rate, with potential risks involved.
3. People-to-People (P2P) Rate: Generally a bit higher than online banking rates.
4. Wholesale and Retail Rate: May vary within online banking transactions and comes with its own risks.
